When you aren't engaged with your training, Membean marks your session as dubious. Your teacher may have told you that you have dubious minutes, but you want to see for yourself. This article will show you how to find your dubious sessions.

If you are engaged with your training, you do not have to worry about accruing dubious minutes.

Your Activity Log

Scroll down to All Learning Sessions and click on your Activity Log.

Once there, locate the session you're interested in viewing. Click on Session Details.

Poor Accuracy

A session will be flagged as dubious if you have a session accuracy of below 30%.

We mark these sessions as dubious because 20% is lower than if you were to give an educated guess for every question. This means that you were likely clicking through your training questions without paying attention.

Poor Activity

A session will be flagged as dubious if you have three instances of 2+ minutes of inactivity. If your activity is flagged orange within session details, this means that your session was marked dubious.

Preventing Dubious Minutes

So, what can you do to make sure that you don't accrue dubious minutes? Here are some tips:

  • Limit distractions: Before starting a training session, turn off your phone and the television, and exit out of all other browser tabs.
  • Keep your sessions short: You are less likely to have poor activity if you give yourself breaks. Try training for no longer than 20 minutes at a time.
  • Talk with your teacher: If you are struggling with Membean, your teacher may be able to adjust some settings for you, or contact Membean to get you moved to another word list.
