Overview
Strong Memory Mode significantly reduces the pace of new words introduced. Enabling Strong Memory Mode reinforces words already in the student's training stream over introducing new ones. If your student performs poorly even after poor training behaviors have been addressed, Strong Memory Mode may be an appropriate setting to try. This article will explain how to enable this feature for a student.
Step 1: Edit Student Preferences
From the Students tab within a class, click the drop-down menu to the right of the student, and click Preferences.
Step 2: Check Set Strong Memory Mode
You will see a page with all of the student training preferences we have available. Check the Set "Strong Memory" mode preference to slow the introduction of new words.
Step 3: Save Changes
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page. Membean will have the student reinforce existing words before introducing new ones.
