This article will explain the strong memory mode and how to enable this feature for a student. Strong memory mode reduces the pace of new words seen. While we would like to enable this for all students, we currently don't do this because of student expectations: students expect to see new words at a steady rate.

Enabling strong memory mode reinforces words already in the student's training stream over introducing new words. If your student performs poorly, the first line of defense is to turn on "strong memory mode".
