This article will show you how to disable or re-enable new words for a student. This can be done by using the "Stop New Words" option in Preferences.

This setting should be used in rare circumstances. If a teacher forgets to disable Stop New Words after enabling it, this could prevent the student from training.

When to Use This Option

  • If the pace of new words being introduced is still too fast after turning on strong memory mode. This option is used primarily with remedial students
  • Prior to a major final assessment, to ensure no new words are introduced

Step 1: Edit Student Preferences

Follow the steps to edit student preferences.

Step 2: Check "Stop New Words"

Check "Stop New Words," and then click "Save Changes."
