Students occasionally forget their passwords, and they may not be able to receive the password reset email if external domains are blocked by their student email accounts. This article will show you how to reset the password for any student enrolled at your school.

If your school signs in with Google, you should not have to reset student passwords once their accounts are linked. If a student approaches you about a password reset, remind them to navigate to membean.com/login and select Sign in with Google.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Dashboard

From the first page of your dashboard, scroll down to the "Reset a Student's Password" widget.

Step 2: Search for Student

Begin typing in the student's name. When they appear in the drop-down menu, click Reset Password.

Step 3: Reset Password

Confirm that you want to reset the password for the student. The reset credentials and a magic link will then appear. Give these to the student.
