Enabling Google SSO will significantly reduce issues with students forgetting their Membean password. It's highly recommended that you enable this for your school.
Google Single Sign-On is available for your school upon request. Please email support@membean.com if you would like your students and teachers to be able to sign into Membean with their Google Accounts.
Important Note: This is a school-wide setting and will force all students and teachers to link their Membean account with Google. Many student have both personal and school gmail accounts. If you furnish your school's student email domain (e.g. @students.hogwarts.edu) in your request, we can prevent students from linking their personal gmail accounts on Membean.
After we respond to your request, and enable Google SSO for your school:
- A new student can enroll with their school Google account.
- An existing student can connect their existing Membean account to their Google account. Subsequent logins will need only their Google credentials.
