Before you start: Membean's Google Single Sign-on must be enabled for your school. Please ask your school technologist whether it's enabled or contact us at support@membean.com. If you do not use Google Suite or Google Classroom at your school, please have your students enroll without Google SSO.

Overview

If your school has enabled Google Single Sign-On to be used with Membean, then your students can connect their Google accounts to their Membean accounts when they enroll into your class. This article will show you how your students will enroll with their Google accounts.

New Student

If your student does not have a Membean account your can invite them to join Membean or have them follow the steps below:

  1. Have your student visit the Enrollment Page at http://membean.com/enroll
  2. Have them enter the class code for the class they intend to join. The class code can be found on your class dashboard.
  3. Click Join Class.
  4. The student will then be prompted to log in with their Google account.
  5. They will then connect their account.
  6. Once they've successfully done this, they will receive a welcome message.
  7. Clicking on "Let's Get Started" will bring them to their student dashboard.

Returning Student

  1. Have your student visit the Enrollment Page at http://membean.com/enroll
  2. Have them enter the class code for the class they intend to join. The class code can be found on your class dashboard.
  3. Click Join Class.
  4. They will then be asked to sign into their existing Membean account by entering their Membean credentials.
  5. Once they do this, they will be prompted to connect their Google account to their Membean account.

Signing In Next Time

Now that your student has already linked their Google account with Membean, signing back in takes a single button click.

  1. Have them navigate to the Login Page at membean.com/login
  2. Click Sign In with Google.
  3. Success! They'll be taken to their dashboard and can begin learning!
